Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I've been trying online counseling because I don't have time for counseling outside of work and other commitments. It's not working. I've done enough therapy in my time that generic advice is worthless. I already know what they're going to say and they apparently have no interest in actually engaging beyond copy and pasting general responses. Perhaps that works for someone who has never before needed to get through the door to an actual professional for mental help.
Things are not good. I feel isolated on every front. I'm angry and sad. I'm fucking tired of everything.

I accidentally deleted a journal entry that I wish I hadn't. Is there any way to get it back?

Instead of going to work I slept in until 11 am Now I'm treating myself at McAllister's to a Spud Max. When I go back tomorrow it will be Friday!

What helps me is describing specifically how I DO want to feel. Pre-visualization, SEEING what you want, is essential to BEING what you want. While it's important to assess the reality of your situation, if you're only focused on the negative, you'll only continue to attract the negative. If you don't know, keep thinking.
For me, I have a sense that I want to be involved in physical and spiritual beauty, serene calm, with paying bills and being aggravated by romantic love only a minor nuissance.
If you're feeling depressed, just look up at the sky and ask,"why do I feel this way?" You will get an answer. You will be surprised but you will get an answer! There is alot more going on around you then you realize and you can connect to that with meditation. It will help you heal your emotional wounds.
God Bless
