Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
You having to learn to question your judgements about what you think are other people's judgements, is a very important thing. So don't be too hasty.
Also: you get the last word in how you feel. Until you get a counsellor with psychic powers, you are the guy with the access to the information. You have to own that, adn come out with it. How you feel is how you feel. Learn to tell your truth to them, and then they have something they can do something with. If you just sit passive while they screw themselves up guessing at your feelings, you won't get anything out of counselling.
