well i've decided i'm going to try this celibacy thing for awhile...... i think about sex way too much in my life and i need other healthier distractions and my cousin just really made me think i don't wanna just be having sex for fun - i want it to mean something-and would like to find someone who really loves me for me and not what is between my legs.... anyways...... i am going to do this - i can do this and dang it- i think i've completely lost my mind- but i'm starting to figure out who i am again..... :) wish me luck peeps!

I hope you stick with your resolve to be celibate until you meet someone with whom you have a great connection with. Trust me... it'll mean so much more if you wait!
As for the guy who ask you out...nothing says you can't go out ever again...just don't feel obligated to trade your body for the chance at a nice night out. Know what I mean?
Like I said, just cuz someone asks you out doesn't mea you have to sleep with them. Go out...have a good time... just respect yourself enough to climb into bed ALONE! ;)
Celibacy's a hard thing to do in today's society. It can be done, tho!!!
I can understand the motivation to do so. So many people equate sex with love. Or sex is just a recreational sport, and the natural beautiful result of sex is an inconvenience.
I do wish you luck, and get to know yourself, love yourself, and delve into what you are really looking for when you use sex as a distraction.
