I didn't believe in love for a while. A LONG while. it wasn't until august of this year I let myself start to look for someone I can trust. I don't know if you believe in a God or not, but I'll pray for you and your healing. I have scars, but scars can still sometimes hurt.

AnnaRT - ((((((hugs))))))) for you. I wish I had the magic words to make your pain go away. My first reaction was you need time - time to heal. I know thats a cliche but time really does make a difference. You're young, you'll learn to trust again and find someone new. I'm sending prayers your way too. Be gentle with yourself.

Im 44 and assuming that I am probably much older than you. I struggle every day with staying alive. My life has been a mess for as long as I can remember. I have been through so many shitty relationships in life that I would even know where to begin to tell you about them. What have I have learned about myself from all the crappy relationships is that I wanted them in a sense. See I always want to help people or actually rescue is probably a better word. I went after dysfunctional hurting women trying to help them and build them back up in a relationship. It always worked too as once they gained their self esteem back and was treated well for awhile they moved on to new men that would tear them down again. See I did a lot of therapy and soul searching to figure out I was bringing that pain upon myself. I found the root cause of why I never had a good long lasting relationship. Please don't let people treat you that way. You are a beautiful person and deserve only the best treatment and anyone that takes you for granted needs to go.

I'm sorry AnnaRT, hugs to you believe me, life goes on. It will get better as days, months go by. The pulling of your heart strings is such emotional turmoil, don't allow others to make you feel any less than who you truly are. Your not what he says, or they say, you are who you believe you are. Most of us I would say have been through heartache, and I know that you can get past this. If you couldn't you wouldn't be able to grow from this life changing experience. Be kind to yourself, you will be ok, I promise.

I just heard this from a minister of Jesus!!!

You see, people see your outside. You, yourself, thinks you are worthless.
