A killer. An idiot. I bought a bunny last weekend. Well. He was long hair-ed. and that means mats. He had a bit of stuff stuck on his butt area. So, making sure he could still 'go', I tried to clean it off. He wriggled and i flipped him back over. I tried to sit him down and he wouldnt lay right. The next thing I know, he flop over on his side, twitches a few times, sprawls out, and in an instant, he's gone. I started bawling. And I didn't want to touch him. It is said that if a bunny wriggles, it may break its spine. But he was so tame on his back. How stupid can I be? And I had to have my dad come in and pick him up, put him in a box, and lay him outside. I can't stop crying. I feel like a murderer. He was just a baby and...and.. *Cries*
some of the lessons I learned and some I guess I have yet to experience... taking care of pets and animals is like WV and Juice says a big responsability, We try our best and we love em till death do us part...and sometimes that means even when we are tryin to help em and save em. xx HUGZZ
I felt like a murderer myself when I had to have my cat of 12 years put to sleep. She had come to a point where she had no quality of life and was in pain. I spent weeks asking myself whether I had done everything I could to extend her life comfortably. I know that I did the right thing but it took a long time to get over the loss.
