Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
There is a world of difference between needing more in order to do well and just being a bad person/bad mom.
You are human and the demand on you is tremendous.
With that, . I think you need to seek support for yourself ... regarding the matter. Talk to a professional about the challenge .. and how to lighten the load.
You need help with this .... seek and ye shall find.

You are also ILL.... Don't be so hard on yourself!
I did a search and came up with the following link. Must say, disappointing search results (number wise). I haven't read into it... but it may help lead you somewhere to get some help!

The above link has a whole section for Moms parenting Aspies. Go there and search on Asperger's in their search box.
And you are NOT a bad person.
Being a mom is the hardest job in the world. Being a good mom occurs when we try our best. That's all we can do........ try our best.
A 13 year old son is VERY volatile. Whether he has Aspergers or ADD or he's dealing with friends and teachers and GIRLS!!!!!!!
The fact that you WANT to be a Good Mom MAKES you A Good Mom.
PS when Noel was little I threw a lamp not at her but it ended up on her side of the room. I know now that it was just overwhelming stress and depression. I don't justify my throwing the lamp but I did use it as a reminder NEVER to do it again. It worked for me.
Your not a bad mom
