I had a good friend that seemed to hold me in high esteem, but their opinion of me seemed to changed over my struggles. I was shocked and hurt to know their true feelings. I thought they knew me better than this. I decided I couldn't be friends with someone who had such a low opinion of me. Yet if they sincerely apologized and realized they were wrong about me I would have continued the friendship. I told them I didn't think I could be friends any longer and explained why, but I did not receive an apology so I guess that is the end.
It hurts so bad to lose a friend. It hurts that my mental issues ruined a great friendship when I am trying so hard to get help.
If my ex friend is somehow out there reading: I love you and will forgive you if you realize in your heart that you were wrong about me.

Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. I lost a friend too, due to my depression. We were very close until I started the process of my divorce. I was in such a bad place filled with anger hurt and fear. She couldn't handle it I suppose. It hurt a great deal.
By the Grace of God, I had other friends and stepped up and supported me through my roughest periods as well as "yell" at me when I needed tough love.
I have also been graced with new friends since her departure from my life. I have learned so many things about myself. I am glad you feel you deserve better than to be around someone ho doesn't believe in you.

Unlike you, I don't know what to say to help very much. I am not good with words. That is probably why I don't have many friends that I see. I know that it stinks to know someone you love is hurting you. I give you credit for ending the relationship for now. I would probably be too weak to do that.
I hope your friend realizes what they are missing and asks to renew your friendship. A huge part of my issues are fear of hurting the ones I love. We just have to fight the fight and get better
I decided I am going to let this fuel me to prove the negative thoughts of me wrong.
If they no longer want a caring, loving, supportive, loyal friend that tried to lift them up it is their loss.
