Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

From your description, you seem like a nice person who can add a lot to the world. Please stay around, the problems are hard, but hopefully you can overcome this, and see some nice things in your future. .
Consider your spiritual side. Your soul cries out to you to understand this life is for you to learn and grow and connect to our Creator.
You matter. Period. You matter on here, too.
Suicide is not the answer, you are needed on this earth to spread help and love to others. You matter. Call the emergency numbers listed on here, the suicide helpline. Sending you light and loving energy. You are among friends here, walking the same path you are on.
For example,
Negative thought "I am worthless"
Positive thought " I am worth it" "I am more than enough" "I am loved" "I am courageous" "I am beautiful/handsome"
They really work, even if you don't believe them. You trick your mind into thinking the opposite of how you feel (subconscious programing) . I practice them myself.
Lastly have grace on yourself. If you made your bed today congratulations, brushed your teeth, congratulations, anything that you did today that you usually can't do on any other day because of your depression and SI thoughts congrats. You did it. You made it, Congratulations!
Think of 5 things to be grateful for every day and write them down.... You never feel as badly when you feel grateful
Eventually these things just come to you automatically and it truly helps
Sending you a big hug of support... xo
I understand where you’re coming from. I’ve been there, I be been on antidepressants for years. I never thought they worked bc I ended up back into the hospital. It wasn’t until they added lamictal to mine that the meds worked. Please never hesitate to go to the hospital when you feel you may end things.
