Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
There's a Fitness Goals group here that I've found very helpful in supporting each other in our physical fitness practices.
I was abused as a little boy and I always fear that I am naturally drawn to young Girls. By God's grace I have never committed a Sex Crime to date.
There is a group 'Families of Sex Offenders' and 'Families of Prisoners'. Hopefully they will understand how you feel.
Try reaching out, by casting a very large net. Every time we go out into the world we can become part of it and make it better. Hold the door for the next person at where ever you are that does not have automatic doors. Say hello to strangers who just look like they need somebody to say hello to them. Compliment people on something you see in them that you like or appreciate or respect.
I find that doing these little things helps me feel more like a part of my little corner of the world, a significant part of that corner!
Gentle hugs
However I do care about YOU, ... and happiness can be found ... for just about anyone. The PURSUIT of happiness. It SOMETIMES comes on its own, ... but otherwise, it has to be sought/pursued. If you give up, .. you lose, .. if you pursue, .. you will capture.
>>many times God supernaturally protects me..and I do have peace and even happiness
There ... right there, .. is the beginning of everyone's salvation. You do not have to settle for what He decides to bestow. You can ASK ... and you WILL receive. What you receive is up to you as what to do with it. As you say, He has bestowed.
I SURELY do NOT believe it is hopeless. You have some insights the hopeless do not have. Don't give up, .. keep a positive attitude, .. GIVE happiness and you will receive it, ... and have faith.
Your life holds more ... and it can be pretty good if you learn some things about it you may not know.
Keep the faith.
Perhaps a way to handle things is to hunker down and just be there for your daughter and hopefully, when you can, your son. Have you had counselling? When you recover from your molestation you can see more of a future for your daughter. And your son. Nothing but death is unsurviveable. if you can physically survive something, you can emotionally survive it and have it increase your size and capacity; not make it smaller. I'm talking from my own experience here: nothing is the end of the world, except for the end of the world. :)
I BELIEVE IN PROLIFE MYSELF.
U HAVE BEEN THRU ALOT HUN'.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND STAY IN TOUCH WITH US!
I JUST TOLERATE THIS WICKED WORLD WITH THE HELP OF THE LORD ON MY SIDE.................................
