I can't believe how many of my groups here at DS have no more or almost no activity. I dont' even see Wandering Vet around any more and he's a CL.  Do the administrators of this site know how unhappy people are with DS and how many people have left and groups have folded?  I'm sorry but I am just not happpy with this and I am losing friends here.

I do see evidence of WanderingVet, so I know he is around.

I believe that DS administrators see what is going on and are not happy about it. Yes, it is sad that we are losing members. But we are also gaining new members, hopefully the losses will diminish and the gains will grow.

Bit by bit we get new features, or we get old features back. So things are getting better.

But I agree, I do miss the old days.

It's not only "complicated," it is beyond what reasonably is decribed as "REALLY?!"
I try every day to find a reason why I should stay.
So far, because of pretty terrific people, including newly formed and found older Friends, I am here yet another day! It's a personal thing why any of us are here.
I hope you find your reason to stay, too. Take care.

I'm new here, but also surprised that there is almost no activity in the most of groups I'm in :(

I have decided to stay - ONLY because once in a while I am able to lend a helping hand to somebody in deep distress. All of the reasons I had to love the old DS are gone like Elvis and his mom.....

A couple of things that I don't like about this new site is, we lost all our pictures. We also lost the way to see a person's profile before accepting a friendship. These two things bug me the most other than no chat at all but, that's been gone a long time. Maybe things will get better, I certainly hope so.

Heidi, you know how I feel. All of my friends do. I used to spend alot of time here.. I don't any more. I'm beyond disappointed..... I've been a member of DS for 9 years. Not sure how much longer I'll stay. sorry for saying that, but it's the truth. I'm glad there are alot of new members . I wish everyone well. always.......... but I don't think I'll be here much longer. :(

I was never able to log into the new site so I lost everything I have been a member since 2007. I had to start fresh with a new profile and a new new email address too. Now that I'm here I am very disappointed in the new site as well. But it looks like there is no going back. I don't post that much but I like to read other peoples posts so I can learn from them so I might stick around awhile longer. I only wish I new what DS was thinking when they changed the site so drastically.

    70F rain expectedThe rain is ok but not while I'm on my way to cardiology appointment. This is the quarterly EKG and lab work and just general check up on how the meds are working and I'm feeling. The meds have kept me out of A-fib and for that reason I want nothing changed, my cardiologist listens to what I have to say and for that I'm thankful. Pt went well yesterday and I'll do my excercises...
