I feel used.

There has been so many moments where I was told I was the one that was used to get over something or someone else. I have learned to let people do what they want and live with what happens. I know it is not good for me but when it begins to happen, I feel like there is nothing I can do. The things I let happen have only made me hate myself more. I feel used and lost. I just don't know what to do.

It looks like you need to stop letting other people do what they want with you and leaving you with the consequences. Perhaps saying 'no' more often would help. It looks like you need to be more careful when choosing friends. A true friend will not take advantage of you.

My belief is that maybe we 'learn to let people do what they want' with us when we forget what our identity is/who we are. When we find who we are, that is when we can begin to life fully.
You were created by God because He loves you. He created you to be uniquely you with gifts and talents to be used in this world. We were created to be in His family to be loved and cared for. John 1:12 says 'Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God'.... When we know this, our identity becomes purposeful and beautiful - we don't have to be pushed around like waves in the ocean to try and find some meaning in this life/purpose.
You are beautiful and uniquely you. You can have the power to say 'no' when you yourself know who you are.

    I can't believe this has gone on this long.  So I don't have much hope of getting a tech job, but I saw an educational job that I thought might be really good. It would have been working at a university supporting high school students who are taking college classes.  I did a mock interview with a friend and prepared extensively.
