Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

it is one of the most terrible medical issues to have. But there is just a little light, everyday I get out of bed, I try and find something that I can do, I force myself to work parttime even tho I do not have
to. I force myself to be around others and to face the fear of what ever has made me uncomfortable.
I am not sure what issues you are dealing with I have also had chest pains and sleep is hard to find
but there is hope, my heart goes out to you. I would get a doctor, try everything, meds, eating healthy, challenge your anxiety by asking yourself, is this true? what evidence do I have that it is true? is this anxiety and sadness from something that is real or is this just what I think. When we are not well our thinking can become something we made up or not at all what it really is.
I would call or better yet go and see a doctor.
All of us want attention, but the state of just being is ok, again try something that is not the norm for you. Make the effort, hobbies are a good distraction, anything to take your attention away for a few minutes. I do not know how old you are so it is difficult to tell you every person is different as to what works for them. If you are having trouble sleeping and can't go to the doctor, try utube and
video's there, a soothing voice is a way to relax. Good luck...
