Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
But getting back to your post. Perhaps they recognize you as someone who gets things done and may actually fear you. Or I guess you could be a knockout and like many workplaces, people want your attention.
Maybe Eleanor Roosevelt was "just having a bad day and needed to blast somebody" when she said "You wouldn't worry so much about what people thought of you if you knew how seldom they did."
