Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
But the consequences of me doing so are too horrible for me to imagine....
I just need to find a vent, either I take it out on me and hurt myself, which is fine or I try, which is better to just let go of it all...
Sometimes I feel like my head will explode with all the hate that is in and I really worry that I won't be able to control it. The one thing that comforts me is that I know I could never harm another living being apart from myself.
Where I feel I differ is where I'm at right now. It's more the rule of not hurting others that keeps me from doing so. At my work, I'm surrounded by people that don't see rules the same as I do. If they break a rule, then should I not get to break one too? The severity matters not. Just the freedom to act.
So far, I've managed to only hurt myself or my punching bag.
I think we both, as difficult as it may be know the answer, you won't break the rules even if others do because you are a better person than them, you may not feel it, but you are.
(you don't have to answer about the work... just an interesting description - it's like a riddle... and I like to try and solve them!! I don't need the answer!!)
