Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

What you are experiencing now is the stages of grief? The loss of a friend and the end of a marriage/relationship would be sufficient traumatic to trigger grief. Have you heard of the 5 stages of grief by Elisabeth Kubler Ross: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with the one we lost. Sometimes, the person afflicted with grief can experience multiple stages of grief at once as the progression of grief needs not to be sequential. Other times, an afflicted person may be cycling between the various stages of grief. Perhaps you can look up the stages of grief to deal with the feelings that you are experiencing at the moment, such as the loss, depression, and despair etc....
I know that at the moment, your future looks bleak but there would be new prospects on the horizon, and opportunities for new relationships as you are young and can start anew again. The first thing to do is to deal with your feelings/your emotions. When the COVID thing is over, you can look for new employment opportunities, new relationships, to move forward with your life.
I pray that God will help you in this difficult time, and don't lose sight of the big picture. Marie :)
