Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
The hits just keep on coming.
I am now going to be spending Christmas Eve alone. And New Years Eve. My wife, whom I am separated from, seems to think she is giving me a gift by inviting me over on Christmas day to see my daughters, and letting me see them on New Years Day. I feel so weak. 5 days ago I was strong, and could handle her bullshit, but wave after wave after wave of it, not to mention the usual nonsense stress of everyday life, I feel bankrupt. Empty. And I have no idea how to get better, feel better, etc. I have counseling weekly, group dbt weekly, another support group every other week, so I know my resources, distress tolerance skills, etc. But I'm just out of gas right now, and I'm tired of trying to find more energy.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
