Well, let me just say this. You are not alone here. If you feel that way post here, we will answer. I don't know much about what is going on with your friends, but if you can try talking to them about how you feel and why you feel this way. Maybe things will improve.

I'm sorry you feel that way! I've been there myself. I could feel alone in a crowded room at times. This site is so wonderful though, and I've made so many friends here. If you ever need to talk, just message me :)

Nothing has made me feel more alone than depression, but please always come here for support as we so get it! Friends can be very disappointing, but they are human and sometimes just can't handle or understand what it's like to have a mental illness. I think it's all about expectation and, unfortunately, it's best to not have too many - just hope for the best, but learn to be okay with whatever happens. I know, easier said than done, but you're very young and you will learn how to manage your depression and your friendships with time. Hang in there - you are not alone in this at all.

Thanks everyone I have a attachment disorder and That may be why my friends don't want to hang out with me. Most of my friends know that I have mental issues and they don't want to be around me. I have a couple of friends that care about me. One of them I am not allowed to talk to or see and thats making my depression worse. I try and think about things in a postive way But since I am not able to talk to my best friend I have just been so down In the dumps.

I miss her A lot she has been through a lot the last couple of months and I feel really bad that I am not able to help her. She has always been my friend even When I was in the mental hospital she did not turn her back on me And now we need each other but My mom won't let me talk or see see her. she said that I am not allowed to anymore. we used to text each other all of the time I miss that All I want for christmas is to be able to see my best friend.

you're 22 how come your mum is still the boss of you?

effin crazy, I know I still feel like a kid as I didn't develop emotionally but really. That's just weird

I also think that's a bit excessive that, at 22, your mother is forbidding you to talk to your friends. Does she know how important this person is to you? If you sat down and explained it, would she listen?

Other than that, I am sorry that you're feeling so down.

Sorry sweetie.. If I was there I would come see ya.. But I am an old bear so I probably wouldnt be much fun for ya... I could bring my twin grandsons with me, they are a blast......

It's hard to feel like nobody cares enough about you to want to be with you. I have one RW friend and we just talk on the phone every once in a while. I don't have anyone I can call and just go have coffee or tea or whatever. Just know that you are not alone.
