Lately, again, I've been feeling that no matter what I do.....I just can't do anything right. By my own standards but especially my husbands, which are harder to live up to.
Part of me just wants to give up.
He's even told me before that no matter what I do I will never be good enough. This was mainly pertaining to my parenting but I get the impression it's an overall opinion. I'm in one of those funks where it's one thing after another.

Also, no one person's opinion is absolute. I can't really give relationship advice, because there is so much to a relationship, that only the two know, but I will tell you,
"Right" is subjective. What is right for one, may not be for another, but in essence, no one is really wrong.

You are good enough, for yourself, and he should be happy he has someone who even cares about his opinion,
Be safe, don't let others opinions rule you, YOU RULE THEM DARNIT....

No one is perfect and all we can do is our very best. Keep your head held high and believe in your accomplishments even if no one else does. If you have confidence in yourself, no one can tell you otherwise. If your husband thinks ill of you, talk to him and try to work things out. If he doesn't want to support you and love you for the beautiful person you are then that's his problem. Don't let him or anyone else bring you down. You are loved, you are a good person, and you deserve to be happy.

You did not give enough specific details about that hubby of yours but by the sound of things maybe he is the one causing the depression?.....
...When I was married to my ex-wife, from her heart she was being manipulative and bringing forth all kinds of evils to me where from my heart I was trying to good....The evil fog being spewed out by such as this should not be taken lightly as you may choke from the inability to breathe!
