Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
And it is a burden that you (your profile says you are 15) should NOT have to carry either!
Get help, that is the key. Getting an adult to help you is a very good first step. Then they can work with you to get the proper authorities involved.
I want you to know that I have no reason to doubt what either you or her say. I want you both to know that this is VERY, VERY serious and something must be done. What is done will be BIG. There will probably be her removal from her family (State Custody/foster care). There may be criminal prosecution .. jail for her Father and likely Mother also. There will be court appearances. There will be medical examinations.
I am not trying to keep you (or her) from taking action. If there is truth to this situation, it MUST STOP. I just want you both to know what may happen.
If you will tell me what State in the US she lives in, I will provide contact information to contact the Attorney General. You and/or her can then tell him the whole story ... ALL OF IT. At that point, a 'big gun' is involved .. bigger than the local police, the police chief, her father or anyone else. So once the AG is informed, be ready for some big stuff to happen. Be prepared to tell him what you have posted and any other facts of the case.
I am simply connecting you with an authority who can AND WILL take action based on the information of the type you have posted.
Some of the things you post are hard to make sense of. Basically, the situation is not going as one would expect. Her Father should be in prison and she and her sister should be in a safe environment .. like foster care. I am thinking maybe something is wrong because he is friend with the Chief of Police in the town .. but I don't know. Things just do not add up. I suggest the Attorney General because if there is something crooked going on with the town police and her Father, the Attorney General can do something about it.
Personally, I think you should email your post to the email address below and see what happens. This is a BIG step ... and if she is lying, this will be a HUGE mess. If she is telling the truth, she and her sister need help ... big time. Police will probably come to your house to question you. This is nothing to play with, but if it is as you say, may be what has to happen. You take my advice, and all hell may break loose.
