These kind of men are totally self-absorbed, destructive, users and abusers.
And for some reason, the nicest women seem to get into relationships with these men.
For me, it is because I haven't had much of a backbone -- needy and dependent....oddly enough, largely because I was raised by self-absorbed, destructive, using and abusing parents.
But the bonds CAN be broken.
It may take YEARS and a lot of grit, but it can be done.
