Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Right now is the best its ever been, only cause ive grown numb to the constant toruture that is my life.
Ive survivied many attemtps on my life from being born premature, backwords and not breathing. child neglact and abandonment. Ive been shot, drowned, and in three near fatal car wrecks, excluding getting ran over twice. Ive had my stomach pumped twice due to poision and multiple suicide attempts.
You might say that its a sign im supposed to live, but i see how the words keeps trying to kill me, im tired of fighting it.
Im tired of fighting to be ok

I have BEEN WHERE YOU ARE ... but (probably worse off). The VA ...will take care of ALL these problems if you approach and WORK at getting the help. They WILL HELP ... but you MUST work at it. Jobs, Domiciliary, medical care, financial benefits. It is an institution MADE for Veterans. It is a beurocracy ... yes, but it WORKS. Get to 'em .... and if you explain what you have posted .. they will get RIGHT ON IT. Grab your DD-214 and head to the nearest VA facility with it. If you don't have one, go anyway and tell 'em the entire story. DO IT. DO IT. YOU ARE ENTITLED TO IT.
Keep showing the things trying to kill you that you're better than them and they might actually leave you alone.
I really hope you'll be able to talk to someone who can actually do some good about this.
