Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Then reward yourself at the end with something nice, and think about how happy you will be when he returns!
. I usually exercise, read, write in a prayer journal, listen to an audio drama, listen to music, or some such thing.
Keep on working with your gp on your meds too. It may take some time to sort through but honest communication will get you there faster.
It's boredom. Sometimes waiting for interest to strike us before we take steps to become involved may well keep us in a state of relative boredom for a lifetime. I'm that way myself at certain times. Since I have a naturally analytical and photographic mind, boredom does not break me. I just use the idle time to adventure in learning newness. It's never too late to go back to books, to take courses, to attend lectures, to develop a latent interest. Boredom can simply not exist or score when you are looking for more to do.
Best of life to you. I hope that your husband is safe during his trip. Stay safe.
If no one has told you, I am proud of you for taking time to find the right medication for you and not giving up- that is no small thing. Being sick is discouraging, whether that be mentally or physically, and discouragement can make us feel the medicines are not working or that we are helpless. But good news! That's just a lie. You are worthy, loved and you can get help.
Ideas: - what is something you can plan to surprise your husband with when he comes home? Perhaps if you find therapy in cooking like I do you can surprise him with his favorite meal.
- list of things you are thankful for. Gratitude is humbling.
- create a happy space! creating a new safe environment is the best. if you can't afford to spend money to change anything right now- plan it! create a pinterest board. how can you make the space brighter? lights? pictures? plants<3

You will get through this and when you do you will see your strength! You did something that you didn't think you could.
Remember, you don't have to believe everything your mind tells you. Fear is a liar. Love is truth.
