I went threw the same thing with my 11 yr old daughter. You need to go to a therapist to analyze her thoughts and mood. The therapist will then get her to see a therapist. Not gettin sleep is not healthy for her. Sleep helps to renew her brain and body. Don’t let her find out that you found her diary. This will help u know what she is feeling. Love her unconditionally, and let her know it. Ask her how she is doing. Pray for her, pray with her. Help her to escape from this loud world of social media that is telling people they need to look a certain way.

Medication and counseling by a mental-health professional is good; couple with exercise that releases chemicals that can help lift her mood, increase her energy, and improve her sleep. She should continue record her thoughts and feelings in a journal. Also please don’t overlook her spiritual needs: Pray for her and together pouring out your heart to God..…it can help calm you. Philippians 4:6,7

Sorry about your daughter. I know from experience that we Moms feel our daughters' emotional pains very deeply. I agree with others that she needs unconditional love and acceptance. You didn't mention her age, but I assume she is a teenager. That is an awful time, especially these days with social media. If you can't get her to talk and open up to you, by all means get her to a therapist. Saying a prayer for both of you.
