Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I honestly don't know what to do anymore. Like honestly I feel so depressed and it just won't stop. I'm trying to smile for everyone, but it's getting so hard to act like things are okay. I have no one to talk to, I can't go see my counselor. I don't have any friends. My grades are dropping bad. I just don't see myself making it much further. My insurance doesn't cover anything for mental health and so if I need to go to the hospital I can't. I'm so scared that I won't make it. You need a moment of respite, so give yourself that. Take a day for you and don't worry about "failing". Do what comes to mind and set goals because remaining isolated and idle can make it worse. Just believe that if you keep doing, it will be better than quitting. It won't feel like it in the moment, but you will feel it as you start making small progress.
Please reach out to a hotline. They can and will listen. And if you need ideas for coping, look for posts on here or ask away. You will get through it.
