this is doug, one of the founders of dailystrength, and i just wanted to say hi. i'm also a member of the depression community (i struggled with it some years back), so i take a special interest in making sure all is well here.
i just wanted to check in and make sure that you were all finding value here, and let you know that we are ALWAYS available to get involved if / when uncomfortable situations arise.
we STRONGLY believe that these forums are meant for support, and we will quickly take action when notified of "unsupportive" behavior - specifically, personal attacks or negativity of any kind.
i take great pride in the fact that this community exists, and that you all can be there for each other...
ok, i'll get off my soapbox now and just say that we really, truly value all of your contributions.

when I first joined this site about 3 months ago...I thought WOW...I alrady have a friend...his name is doug...LOL
You were very kidn to me nad answered all the questions I had!
Since then I have made so, what I feel , are life long friends! Your effort to make a wonderful community for folkslike us is amazing! There is a SPECAIL PLACE IN HEAVEN JUST FOR YOU DOUG!
