Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Your brain is in your head, and you can fight what is happening in there. As long as you recognize that the voices are not real, you are coherent enough to fight this.
I wish you luck and peace.

but at the time i was only on prozac. my voices laughed at me and told me to do certain things, basically to harm myself. so i was put in inpatient treatment for 2 months, later on i found out it was a symptom of psychosis (sp?)...
are you seeing a psychatrist? if so i suugest you tell them whats happening.
if not go to your doctor and say whats happening. it can be treated with meds so i've heard, sometimes it just sorts its self out in time. most people apparently have an episode of psychosis/hearing voices once in their life and it never happens again. so it might not be forever/an ongoing thing.
voices are in your head, and it can be scary i know. but you dont always have to act upon/believe what they say. what do the voices sound like? do you see things when the voices talk? have you ever had a panic attack when hearing them?
*hugs* hope things are okay soon.
im here if you need to talk.
I think it might sort itself out if you give the meds time. but if you feel like you're going to harm yourself 'cause of the voices i'd suggest you go to the hospital.
The meds will be playing a huge role in this too.
Good luck and peace
