Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
So in a strange turn of events. I still have my gallbladder and appendix. When Doc S start looking around, he found an very infected small intestine. I was full of fluid and gas. There is no endometriosis as suggested by the GI. The pain I was in near the gallbladder....my liver had started to adhere to abdominal cavity and that had to be corrected. Doc scared Greg by coming out to look for him and bringing him into a private area and showing him pictures. Greg had to make the decision about the gallbladder since I was already under. But it looked too healthy to remove (despite a HIDA scan with a low functioning ejection rate). And the Doc's concern was that pulling it out of there would spread infection. I do feel the right decision was made. Now in all fairness to the physicians that ran the tests....an infected small intestine would not show up on them. Even the upper endoscopy was only on the large intestine. So now we need to find out why it's infected. The surgeon feels it's either pelvic inflammatory disease or Crohn's. So once I heal....he wants me to see a gyn first. I have four holes in my abdomen right now. I hurt like crazy. I have antibiotics, more pain meds, and a breathing thingy because they want to make sure I am not breathing too shallow due to the pain. Not supposed to drive or lift anything above ten pounds. I'm laughing because Frosty just made the cut.....I could still put her on the couch when she meows about it. But I need to be careful around Max. He had developed a habit of jumping into my lap from the back of the couch....all 16 pounds. I was catheterized, so that hurts (yeah tmi), my throat hurts from the breathing tube, and my upper lip looks like I had botox. I am under orders to move around...so the air and gas dissipate...crazy painful. All in all, I'm glad I did it.....I'm finally getting answers.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonÂ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
