I have this guy in my division who wears train conductor hats EVERY DAY, hes got tons of them he wont wear the same on twice in a row, i mean honestly who the hell wears train conductor hats?

I work in a special place where you must kiss your supervisors ass to keep your job. If they don't like you- you will lose your job. It has nothing to do with job performance. In the past, my company has let an entire department of skilled and highly productive employees go on the authority of a less skilled and highly manipulative supervisor. And the supervisors do not respect confidentiality.

I am lucky that I am pretty much my own supervisor. But I take a lot of abuse from the others. Most of it is personal jabs because I'm really good at what I do.

A woman was fired via certified letter while on vacation. The reason: she allegedly moo'd at another employee. Her replacement was caught stealing and still works here. The lesson: Steal all you want but don't moo while you do it.

wow! I had no idea mooing was such an offensive and dangerous thing to do! Not that it comes up much in my life -- no really, it doesn't!!!

Yes, I didn't until I nede them and they all turned their backs and that was it for them in my list of friends!!

Last wednesday my boss fired me, and then "temporarily" rehired me an hour later, and then the next day called to ask if "we were good." I told him after he fired me, I laughed hysterically for four hours (which I did). Sometimes you just get a point you could care less. I was actually disappointed in being rehired... I had 182 hours of vacation and sick time saved, and was looking forward to sleeping in for a few days. I've never been unemployed, and this sounded like a great opportunity to try it out. Sometimes you just have to make lemonade.
