Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

every night about the same time i go into a deep depression. I feel useless and want to just leave this world. by morning i am ok. but overall i feel useless. I have tried and lost and given up to so many jobs. today i tried to teacher sub, for a middle school. It was similar to a prison riot , i am not kidding. The kids were completely uncontrolable. I cried when i got home. I am barely scraping to make ends meet, i need a pair of glasses, clothing and food money. I feel like i am broken and done. I live with a nice girlfriend but she is always telling me i need to change my attitude and manifest happier joys in life. I usually just sit and listen to that thinking she has never felt like this. You cant just flip a switch , or I would have by now.
I feel useless, tired, broken, worthless. I dont want to ever really talk to anyone again

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I am sorry you are struggling with the deep depression....I wish you well but stay out of toxic working places....
I am old enough that I will only work when and where I want to work.....and it cannot be toxic....I am 65 and security is that I have had SSDI since 2013......
My situation is a lot better now. Work is hard. Even the easyist job is hard. To be successful, you need to find a job coach to help you at your side. Keep posting my friend.
