I go there, well, Ormand beach mostly, but drive to Daytona for the hotels and food and shopping. its an in and out visit. no walking around. stay in stores for safety. most people who live around there know to avoid it when a gathering is happening. only 'tourist' go there for the gatherings... biker week and daytona 500 are about the same as spring break. Its not just guys... girls too... will come by and take your clothes from you. like if a girl is walking with a bikini, theyll take it off her, and leave with it, to leave her naked or with just one piece. specially tops. cause its just string, so theyll just grab it and run and itll break. if a guy is walking with shorts, theyll take them off him and run away with them. least pants him.
