Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
You have done voluntary work and that is just awesome in my book.
You are actively putting yourself out there, looking for work, which takes strength. The job market is in the pan at the moment, rejection will happen but you are doing all you can.
You have a daughter that loves you and a grandson you know you want to see grow.
Hold onto these things, count the little victories and maybe try replying to rejection letters by rejecting their rejection letter with further info on how you are perfect for the job. Someone will appreciate your tenacity and employ you. It's worked for me in the past.
Don't hide your depression, talk and share, lighten the load a little.
Hugguns.
Please keep chugging along with the rest of us.
