Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I sometimes ramble around the idea that yeah... i have depression, but maybe it has something to do with low self esteem, like you know that thing its going to make you feel better, but you dont do it because deep inside you, you feel like you're not worth it. It's a depressing though, but maybe focusing in your self esteem like writing, doing exercises like looking at the mirror and telling you your are worth it until you believe it, listening to happy songs, reading about people that improve them selfs, etc; will make it easier, because if you think yo deserve it, doing things for you, will come naturally.
In other hand I do think that focusing in improving you self esteem in little ways and doing little things, takes the pressure of how hard is to do simple shit like waking up, doing the dishes, going to the gym, and just existing. light up a candle, put your favorite movie, take a shower, do things that make you feel good but with not ass much effort like working out or going out with a bunch of friends, do little things to make you feel better and improve your self esteem until you are ready to the big ones. :) although you dont think they are big ones, 80% of this forum, know sometimes it is, you are not alone. lots of hugs, i really hope you feel better and get easier :)
This is why people with Depression need to take medication because the meds regulate the chemicals in the brain so that your mood stabilize.
Have you thought about talking to a counsellor or a therapist?? They might be able to give you some good coping advice. Give it a thought. Take care and I’m keeping you in my prayer. God bless!
