Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Today and this week, I have had many epiphanies. Many solutions and many experiences that have changed my outlook and perspective.I have realized that I have become a stronger person and that slowly due to my diligance in working on myself I have made improvements that the young child 5 years ago could have not imagined. I have grown, and though the road was slow, bumpy, filled with obstacles and back tracking I am getting to a transition in path. I have learned that I cannot force a bud to bloom into a flower by will alone, I must water it, feed it, let the sun bathe it and most importantly, have patience to allow it to develop in its own time.
This analogy came to me when my brother stated that he had an answer to my anxiet and my problems and I told him that in due time I will sprout, that in my own time and through my own experiences I will gather the nutrients and requirements to overcome the soil and taste the sun. I told him one cannot force a flower to bloom, we can do what we can but in the end it is IT that knows when to best bloom. For all trees know when to give fruit, they do not choose, they just DO.
What I mean by that is that things take time to develop, peace of mind, discipline, willpower, skills and the such. We must give ourselves time and be kind to ourselves and not pressure ourselves or force ourselves to give fruit when we have not yet even fertilized the ground. We must maintain the good habits and remove the old useless ones from our lives. If you do not know how then find out, take one thing at a time and do not overwhelm yourself. Bring order to yourself, write a journal of your goal and write a plan of action to take in order to achieve this goal, if you do not know how to achieve this goal then research. FIND a way. Remember that things take time and we are of nature and therefore we will instinctively know when to give fruit. Just relax and let that fruit come when it comes so in the meantime feed yourself well, maintain yourself well, and the rest will come in its own time.
Good luck all, and STAY STRONG!!
