oh hon, i should have read this yesterday when you posted - so i'm sorry for the delay... i'm so sorry for all this happening, i just wanted you to know that.
but i'm glad the school counselor and your teacher were there for you. use them as your support system - you have to have people in your life that you trust and can lean on. good for you for opening up to them...

Can you call Child Protective Services?? You can't live like that. It is beyond horrible and would turn anyone *into* a germaphobe. If you don't want to call, mention just a little of what you told us to your teacher or counselor. They will call. Can your mom get custody?

My heart breaks for you having to live with this. I hope you will consider getting your counselor to call CPS. You deserve better than this.

im too scared...cuz kids in foster care, i heard they are much worse (unless they were getting abused locked in the basement kind of seious) and i wont get to see my mom or other fam again and im gonna be 17 in 2 days and so i do only have 1 yr left.....and im a junior in high school and so i just wanna graduate and go to college and leave....after the holiday passes, i will call them and ask them ques too.....i had cps last yr because of something else and i tried to tell them but i was just too scared

Oh babe, a year of abuse just is very punishing. You are a victim and you don't need any more punishment. It is common for young people to feel they are better off with the devil they know than the devil they don't know. Infact it is even common among adults. More people have embraced the love of foster care parents, and have been made to feel nothing more than welcome. I have seen many children in your situation, and I know how scary it is for you. It is important for you to learn safety of yourself now, and to take control with some positive steps toward your own inner happiness. Not everyone out there would be against you, seek all the people you can to support you and to help you make decisions which would keep you safe and sound.

i just talked to my mom and she was like "u gotta pray, believe in God (i do believe), u just have one yr, u go to foster and u will get raped beat etc....she will be mad if i leave ..she said please just tough it out for just a lil bit

i tikd my mom that i wanna live someplace else but still live normally like go to school hang out with friends, go to her every weekend and she was like that wont happen and i will never see her or the fam again
