I think this may be my first post here. I haven't been on here a while and wanted to see if this may help with my depression.
I seem to swing back and forth from depression to anxiety. The last few weeks I have been in a deep depression trigger by the one year mark of suddenly losing my Aunt (custodial mother) to a stroke/brain hemorrhage.
On 10/12/1012 I woke up to my Aunt in a coma and it was very traumatic. She was on life support for a day until the family and I decided to take her off, because she wasn't going to come out of the coma. She had a "massive" brain hemorrhage in her brain stem.
At first I didn't realize that this was what slipped me into depression. It's weird, I'm in denial about it sometimes.
Well I actually had been doing pretty well for the last year. Despite my biological mother trying to torment me out of her selfishness and alcoholism.
I eventually blocked her number. I was close with her before my Aunt passed, but she has major issues that affect me very bad.
So in a way, I lost two moms I feel.
I have a blog, you can read my entries if you want to know the extent and how I've been feeling.

I could just use some help right now because I feel that this is the hardest bout of depression I have had to control. Thank you all!

So my husband talked to me and we went to the hospital I was there 2months they gave me ect that was a life savour for me I was going dowen to far to fast and the doctor wanted to stop that and get me back up and the pills would of taken to long .............I use different ways to help my self .......if I am doing somthing and I get more dowen or get angsitiet I stop doing that and Chang what I am doing ................you need to get out even if it is just in your Owen yeard ....and I live one. Day at a time one hour at a time if I have to .....three is always tomorow. .....notice the little things that are so beautifully....from the tiniest thing to a sun rise .......and just feel the sounder of it .......I have a list of the things I want to get done and so if I can mark one thing off that list in a day than that was a good day .....I have to take. Care of my self to we are on penchion and my h likes to get up early and by 10 in the evening our puppy is on our bed telling us it is bed time. I do better. If I sleep better ...I don't do good when my h goes over night to hunt or trap ....I will cry but I have found that if I go to mt sons and hang out with them I do much better........so there are Maney things you can try and I. Certainly don't have all the answers ........I hope you find ways to help you get through this time........take care of your self .....god ..bless

I'm new to the site and though I cannot imagine the way that you are feeling right now, I can definitely empathize with you and I understand feeling anxiety and depression. I'm here if you need a friend. I am praying for you regardless and want you to know that you are VERY courageous for stepping away from your biological mother if she is toxic for you! I struggle with being too much of a "people pleaser" and the you stepping back to put your own needs first is necessary at times, especially with a matter like this. I commend you and as I said I am praying for you. Take care of YOURSELF!
