Thanks a lot for the reply. It's been a horrible morning. Between my pain and my tinnitus is just driving me to the brink. I've stopped feeling suicidal a long time ago. Just feel like I have to live a miserable life for the rest of my life. I know it sounds very dramatic but I'm my case my health issues continue to pile up at a very young age I'm just 42 and my health is in shambles. Sorry for the long posts... Thanks for the welcome guys. I am trying to gather more strength and will to talk more about my feelings. I need a way to vent and tell my stories and experiences. I’ve held so much inside for so many years that it feels unhealthy to continue holding so much.

Your symptoms sound alot like my mom and me; depression/anxiety, headaches, tinnitus, nausea, debilitating fatigue, episodes of diarrhea, etc... caused by a chronic Enterovirus infection we've had for over 8 years now [Coxsackie B2 and B6 viruses]. Sadly, except for a very few like Dr. John Chia in LA, the medical ignorance about Enteroviral disease is stunning, so most victims are never correctly diagnosed. If you want more info, check out the Enterovirus Foundation and Enteroviruses .com. Oddly the antidepressant Fluoxetine [Prozac] appears to be antiviral against Enteroviruses in lab studies. I took Prozac 40mg/day a while back and it reduced my nausea and abdominal discomfort for about 2 months but didn't help otherwise. I've recently resumed taking it because apparently it can take 6 months or more to reduce Enterovirus in the brain. Got to try something cause I'm SO tired of being a sick, depressed, zombie.

Interesting, thanks. I was on Prozac until a few days ago. I stopped it because my Psychiatrist wants me to be on lamictal to simply help as a stabilizer. I'm trying to reduce my overall meds. But I know I will have an immense challenge to drop opioids.

Wow, you do have a tough road ahead. Mom and I take a number of supplements that help with anxiety/depression and they might be helpful for you. For anxiety; Inositol, Niacinamide, and GABA ; Those also help with sleep in addition to low dose melatonin. For depression; high potency sublingual B12 lozenges and St. Johns Wort although I've stopped taking the latter while I'm on Prozac because of possible drug interaction. I'm kind of worried about the viruses developing resistance to Prozac because it isn't helping with my nausea and abdominal discomfort like the first time I took it, but I'll stay on it for at least 6 months and hope for the best. If only we could get a drug that was specifically developed as an antienteroviral instead of just by coincidence.

Hi and welcome to DS!! Sorry you're having a rough time.. I don't have pain, but have many of the other symptoms and no one can figure out anything. It's so frustrating as you know.

Thanks for all the comments. I am trying very hard to make it a habit of talking about my problems to see if I can get some of my feelings on it of my system.

Unfortunately got more bad news from my chiropractor, just more issues with my neck, been having terribles headaches and pain. So on top of my chronic low back pain and surgery, now my upper vertebrae are failing, just more pain that is hard to get under control. So many health issues at such young age has me in a very bad depression. Frustration is the order of the day...

Sorry to hear you are having more pain. Did you, or are you going to, have back surgery? I had an L2L3 laminectomy a little over 2 years ago which took care of my pain. It sounds like your situation is much more involved. I hope there is something they can do for you to help relieve at least some of the pain.

Already had a laminectomy from L3-S1 in 2011 and I now have failed back surgery syndrome, which pretty much made my pain worse than before surgery. I was warned my upper vertebrae could suffer from the strain since there are fused ones in the lumbar, so pretty much I guess this is our now my cervical loves are messing up. I'm only 42... And pretty much my personal life has suffered a great deal due to infidelity and I'm stuck still due to my depression and low self esteem...so I feel attacked from every angle both physically and mentally. ... Sorry for the rant :/

Is your Vitamin D level above 40 ? And are you taking any buffered vitamin C, vitamin K2, Boron, Magnesium and Calcium. Those are so important for bone and connective tissue health. I don't have any serious back trouble but I love my inversion table [hangs you by your feet] when my back hurts. It sure takes the pressure off the spine. Hang in there and hugs to you.

My vitamin D is ok. My Dr looked into it. But will definitely look into the other supplements. Thanks!
