Hubby might have found a job, but it is all the way up in New England.
The way the economy is right now, we will take a job no matter where the hell it is.
Hubby thinks that his company is about to go out of business, and apparently a few of these paychecks have bounced, so we are still dealing with that bullshit.

Deposit the check to your account. DO NOT SPEND any of the money on that deposit. If you do and the check is no good, your checks will bounce and you will be charged for them.
Wait until the paycheck CLEARS your bank, .. and you are free to spend the money from it.
In other words, .. if you have $20 in the bank, and you deposit the check for $200, don't spend any more than $20 before the check posts to your account. Then you can start spending the $200.
If the check is no good, the bank will mail it back to you .. but you have not spent any of its money, so no penalty or problems.
