I haven't seen it but I'm going to try to remember to look it up. The messages they send in the media is ridiculous.

I tried to google but couldn't find it. Maybe write to the station as are a few adds that need to taken of the air. A hand written letter does hold a lot of weight these days as few get them.

Is there an ombudsman and or is there a complaints advert that does give you an address to write to? Does happen a lot here in OZ that adverts get taken off the air as to many complaints.

it's showing the little Italian cars leaving Italy and "swimming" to America to present themselves to American car buyers....yeah, the first time i saw it i thought it was strange, then i realized what the message was after seeing it a couple of times.

There is a series of them. Lavender is right, the theme of the commercials is that they are making their way to America.

It is a rather odd idea, but I doubt they thought about the suicide angle.

I agree, I'm sure they are meant to be amusing but it's just not an amusing topic. I've seen on one of the old seinfeld episodes he does an onstage bit about suicide and making a few jokes about it... I can't imagine why anyone would put that in a comedy act unless they are heartless.

Yah, i mean i get it now. But i guess from a depressed persons warped sense of things, all i could see was that car taking a swandive & it was disturbing. I am not really gunna take the trouble to make a stink about it, but just thought it was an odd choice

I haven't seen it but if I do, I am going to get whatever info I can on it, and write to the car company. That is very inappropriate.
