Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
He makes 10 messes to the one I just cleaned. Sigh....
So now I gripe at him like his mom would. Ha!
When I look at the room...it makes me wanna pull my hair out..trying to figure out HOW on earth I'm going to clean that!
The only thing that has helped me is start at the edge of a section..work your way further into it. It may take hours, or days... but stop when you feel like its beginning to look the same. Then at another time, go back and start where you left off.
Eventually, it WILL get done. :)
And you just try to maintain it.
If you have a husband or family that likes adding to messes....jump on them. Let them hear that they are to clean up their OWN messes. It seems to work for me now. I think they get tired of hearing me gripe. Well....someone HAS to.... ;)
In fact...I just griped to him about his shoe collections in the living room. Haha. Boy, that felt good!!!!! Yay!

This is pretty common among depressed people. Just take onr dmall section and clean it, don't be concerned about anything else just clean one small section. The next day do another small section.
I remember one time I was just going to light a match! You feel better just getting it done, reward yourself afterwards, whether it is a legal or non legal substance, a reward is a reward! A chocolate bar, scarf down a bag of chips etc. Best of luck and you are not alone...ever, in this regard!
