Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I myself have two small children, and that is who I keep breathing for. Before them, I kept on going for my family. I have great parents and 3 younger sisters. They all love me so much, and they would be crushed if I wasn't around anymore. Other people in my life are who keep me breathing, keep me going. They get me out of bed in the morning, and off to work.
I hope you have someone in your life who needs you like this....that keep you breathing.
My father is dead and my mother treats me like shit. My older sister thinks she is better than me so she doesn't talk to me and my younger sister is trying to find her place in the world as a lesbian. I have no family that cares....except for hubby and 3 kids.
I live for them. How would it make Dan feel to come home to no one?
I did.
It's called a people pleaser and no matter how much good
you do or how good you do or how much you give to them or for
them it is never enough and they will let you do until you die.
Sooner or later we people pleasers figure out that it is a one way street and if we need something in return it will be a shock from them with not much else to follow.
Try to read about this and focus on what is important for your future and your survival because in the end all of this do gooding doesn't do much for us but deplete what little resources we have.
We just need to learn to set boundaries about how much we give.
Life is give and take and there are a whole lot of takers out there.
Ones who can't spell "g i v e ".
Try church and other positive and reinforcing venues to uplift your spirits.
the very best of luck.
