Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm back in my home state, and school is approaching way too fast. I need to find an apartment and set up a lease that I can afford as well as one that won't last too terribly long so I can come back to the state I'm happier in, but that won't happen. Nobody will just sign me until May. I understand that. Also, if I get the job at the hospital I'd definitely not be welcomed back if I left in May to work in another state. Nobody likes short term employees...
On top of that, I have a huge list of things I need to switch and errands to run starting tomorrow that I need to get done ASAP. All of it is drowning me on top of my family feeling smothering since I have nowhere else to go until I find a place. My parents still nag me as if I'm still a child and as if I have control of getting these errands done now. I had to wait until the holiday was over for everyone to get back in offices.
My brother owes me $400+ and is trying to deduct $100 so I can have one of his puppies, but I need the money. I'd rather adopt one and get my money I'm in desperate need of from him, but he promised the money back months ago and hasn't given me a cent on it. It's like nobody is reliable and everyone just wants to talk at me rather than reassure me through my stress. I miss my friends in Delaware because they were with me through the hardest time in my life and now it's like I'm home with strangers and stressful atmospheres. I like my peace and quiet and it's far from that around my house.
I just feel so alone right now and I have nobody I can come to and sit and talk with and let them comfort me. Everyone around me is swarming with their own lives and I can't even get a simple conversation on the things bothering me most around here. Everything just seems to be spiraling and I'm just pretty upset right now because I can't talk to my grandma on the most important day of the year because God has her while I sit alone typing this. I just don't know why I'm typing this really. I guess I just want company that reminds me I'm not just alone in the dark on what's supposed to be the most cheerful day of the year...
