Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I have been weaned off of my anti depressant to find out if it was the cause of my neurological issues. Well, I warned my husband that it was going to be horrible for everyone. I told him I would be a mess emotionally. He said he could take it and they would support me thru anything. He felt that all these drugs were no good for me and I should find a natural approach. Now he is pushing me to take something! LMAO.
I was fired last week because the withdrawal from my drugs caused me to go psychotic. I was so agitated that I couldn't function. At any rate, I can't talk about it here or with anyone other than family or my counselor or attorney. I am so ready to just quit. I feel so locked up inside my own head right now. People I used to work with and consider friends have shut me out. They don't want anything to do with me. My husband is driving me crazy and I cant cope.
I am to go on and pretend this whole thing didn't happen? It did and I am being punished because I have been made a junkie by my own doctor on a med that was supposed to help me get along in life like a "normal" person. I wasn't getting along in life. I was being constantly tormented by a former coworker and supervisors about my physical disability. Then they pushed me to the brink of no return mentally. How is this something I am supposed to keep bottled up?
I am plain MISERABLE now!

My drugs don't affect me that way. I take ssri's were you on bipolar drugs? They sound worse than mine but don't know so don't quote me. It probably is good to get off them all. Can they sack you for being ill? I'd check that out. You can't discriminate for illness, mental illness included

See an attorney, re: your dismissal. You may have some rights here, I believe, though Dog knows I am not an attorney.
