Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. Since that time, we have had lots of ups and downs but I have never intentionally hurt Mr K in anyway. And when we first started dating in 2024 he let me know, although he is an engineer by degree, he has an extremely low EQ. Overall, he is ok (not off the charts nice like other guys in...

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling so down. I think that realizing what's wrong is definitely a start, but you also have to get back on the horse, so-to-speak and although working hard to better yourself is rough, it's also very rewarding as well. Things don't happen overnight, but I hope that with talking here, it might help you - if you aren't seeing a therapist, as well?
It seems like you might have some spite with your uncle, when you called him, "Mr. Perfect".. Are you angry towards him, or are you idolizing him? I think that your uncle would be very proud to hear your speak so highly of him, if it's positive. I bet he would also be proud if you were to do something that you love doing career wise as well, if you're not already in one you like doing.
Instead of concentrating so much on him and where his kids are, you may want to concentrate on yourself a bit more and what would make you happy. Just my two cents... If you ever feel like chatting, my PM box is always open. I hope your day has gotten a bit better throughout the hours since you posted.
You still have the ability to get your GED, go to a trade school or community college. You could even do something like start out washing dishes at a restaurant and work your way up to a cook. I don't know what kind of relationship you have with your uncle but perhaps he can provide you with guidance and support.
Most importantly you are not a loser or a failure. Not everyone goes down the same path. You have worth because it's not what you do for a trade that makes you worthwhile, but who you are on the inside.
Name one - Blah blah blah.
Name two - Blah blah blah.
Name three - Etc. etc. etc.
