Or what ever fits your professional jargon. The key is to keep the interest and impression up there and also to show them that you value future contact. If they say they are considering others or the post has been filled...
Again thank them for their consideration and your interview really peaked your interest in their company, /program, /objective. If she becomes aware of a position similar please feel free to forward your resume and let you know.

It took my husband a month and a half to get through a three interview hiring process. You have to kind of think if them in a different time dimension.
For sure you will get an answer while you are busy doing something else. But keep applying and take some interviews in other areas for practice in the mean time. You will be more comfortable when it counts.

Trying to find a new, more fulfilling job can be extremely frustrating. As you’re finding out, it can be made even more frustrating when you are led to believe that you’re going to land a job that you’ve interviewed for. In your case, after three interviews, most of us would be led to believe that they are the most qualified for the position.

But, for whatever reason, you haven’t heard back from them. I know how this feels from similar experiences. Sometimes, what has happened to me is that the interviewers might have presented their case to the accountants/budgeting department, and maybe they can’t see it in their budget to hire anyone at this moment unless they are able to move some money around.

This may or may not be the case for the position that you’ve been interviewing for, but for whatever reason, it is my feeling that they owe you a response, any response, so that you’re not left wondering what’s going on. Also, you should probably follow-up with them on Monday, which would be one week from your email. This could be done through e-mail, but I would recommend calling them if you can, or even stopping by the location where you interviewed. In the meantime, I would also keep applying for other jobs, so that you’re not limiting yourself to that one job should it not pan out.

As a praying man, I’ll be praying for you and your situation. Keep your chin up. It can be hard, but with persistence, you’ll end up with the job that you need in due time. Take care.

Ugh. Interviews and even three interviews for one position is an "energy vampire". I am currently unemployed and have been since 2/10/2016. I have to get the energy to "sell myself" again.

Interviews for me suck. I really am not super good at them. Good luck on your new job! Glad you got it!
