So the employer that was ghosting me followed up and let me know what the hold up is.  Apparently one of my three references got back to them, my former supervisor did, which is fine. My co worker I guess did not.  They told me to try to follow up with him again. I will, but it's getting tiresome and my motivation is waning. In the meanwhile I asked someone else who volunteered to be a reference for me, but she ghosted me. I'm discouraged about this entire process.  I asked yet another person again today too, we will see what he says.
