Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I really can relate with you right now. I'm really upset and pissed off with the fact how things had been going through in my life, I'm really depressed about it all plus this morning was like the icing on a cake. This morning mom was not feeling well so she called 911. They dispatched the paramedics. When the paramedics came, they had a very bad attitude towards my mom and me. When I asked can I go along, I was told to ask the driver of the truck. I did and it took him a few minutes to answer me. Finally he said that I can come along but he did not talk with me at all. We rode in silence all the way to the hospital. When we got there, they spoke with a nurse, who cared for mom yesterday, she was very rude and mean to my mom. It was to the point that she wanted to call for a ride and leave there immediately but a nice doctor wanted to see mom before she left.
The reason I can relate with you is because my oldest brother is mentally imtimadating my mom rudely. He wants her to give him permission to get her birth certificate so he can look up her personal information, then call her and throw it in her face. He even once told my mom that his kids did not have to talk with her. (the list goes on). I have another brother who keep moving so often because he is running from the police. He didn't kill anyone or nothing. He moved here near us when it was still snowing, but last month he and his family moved back to California; now he is wanting to move back to this state, close to us, so he can visit mom. Whenever he is near, mom get so upset; her stomach bothers her to the point that she throws up, she has a hard time sleeping, lose her appetite and so forth.
The reason this is bothering me is because I'm used to my home being peaceful, quiet, and full of laughter but now it's full of anger, fear, sadness, depression, and no trust in people thanks to my oldest brother opening up the door to my mom's past. (that's my opinion). In fact my niece told me that him and my sister (only one), likes to drink and do jokes on people. Three weeks ago, we received a call from someone who told my mom that they were going to get her. She called the police, and they told her where the call came from. It was from the same state my brother lives.
I'm like you, I hate family stress but I can't move because I don't have any money. But my heart goes out to you, good luck!
Family can be tough enough without having to deal with what you have on your shoulders.
Hugs hon.
