this is doug...i'm one of the founders of DS, and we're working on a new feature i could use your help with.
our new feature is GOALS, so that the community can help you reach anything you're trying to accomplish...it's a really cool feature, and it will let you track most anything that you're looking to improve.
I have three questions that I could use feedback on:
1) What kinds of goals would you put on DS if you could?
2) What features would you like to see? Are there features on other sites or in the real world that you'd like to see in our product?
3) What kinds of information (i.e. weight, BMI, blood pressure, time or distance, etc) would you like to track?
Of course, anything else you've got to say would be great too.

I hate typos, and would love to be able to correct them.
Goals? Um. Level of pain (I have chronic pain) through out the day so you can track how or when your pain is the worst.
I agree that we should probably not put the weight thing up there, I know that I tend to obsess over how much I weigh every day, and to track that would not be helpful for me. I know it might help those that are acctually overweight, but there are just so many of us that have a problem with an eating disorder.
It would be nice to be able to comment on photos.
I would like to see the ability to edit or delete any post you might have made, whether it be on a photo, a journal or something from the forum boards.
1. A moderator that would monitor the sites and protect against abusive members.
2. Protection for younger members. I am concerned about those under 18 who come on adult sites where the subject matter isn't appropriate for them and where they may become victim to on-line predators. What is DS doing to protect members under 18?
3. An ignore button.
Thanks to all the DS staff. This is the best site I've found.
Too many times, someone is in suicide mode. If we can't send 911 to them, they are pretty much stuck. It pains us so much to be in this type of situation, as we are totally helpless.
On a lighter note, we need a spell check; more funny faces, and other icons.
A site just for Chrisitians, and one for the New Age/Spiritual Consciousness group would be fantastic.
You can put up links to other web sites that support self-improvement; self-help, etc.
This is like making out a Christmas list! Thanks Doug, for listening! You guys really do rock! :)
different from the watch this deal, if I know what a post is and just want to read the most recent reply, I have to open the thread ( to open the first page to get to the most recent link ) if you added that, would save the site not only bandwidth ( money ) thats comes from opening that first page, and it will also save people alot of time, especially those of us on dialup.
