I am reading all the replies and thinking about tonight's episode of Hell's Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay~ the chef who usually goes ballistic on people, shouts obsenities all over the place, but in the end, gets the food cooked to perfection and whips the restaurant owners into a whole new concept of how to cook and run a restaurant.
Maybe we should do our own cooking show~ come up with some wild names for our own concoctions like....

wash it first. just run some water on it and scrub with hands. cut a slit in the skin throw some garlic and herbs under it along with butter. rub the skin down with salt and pepper. i always put salt and pepper a lil garlic powder and butter and herbs together and inject it into the chicken witha flavor injector. then i put it in a pan wrap it in aluminum foil and bake it for hours on 350, my husband loves it.
or you can chop up the chicken. and take self rising flour, pepper and salt, a lil garlic powder mix it together, dip the washed chicken in it and deep fry it on medium till done in the middle.

wow, how did it turn out? I take it was a whole chicken with stick of butter stuck inside and paprika on top from what I'm reading here... I don't understand the reasoning behind the butter thing.
