It seems like an obvious conclusion. Almost everyone on this board is depressed. I am depressed. Almost everyone on this board has cats. I have a cat. Ipso Facto.

I've been told that having a cat or any sort of pet is good for depression. They are a little bit of company that doesn't have a go at you for "being down" as soon many people confuse depression with being a bit sad.

Stroking pets is supposed to be theraputic and relaxing,thats why some hospitals have dogs visit the patients.So no it cant be the cats,though just think how bad you could be if you didnt have them.I have a tank full of fish so cant stroke those,perhaps I should get a cat(partner wont let us get one,so just joking)
