Today I wanted to hang out with a very very good friend of mine. We'll call him Alfred. Well, I picked Alfred up from the bus stop, and brought him back here to hang out with me for awhile. I wanted to spend a couple hours with him. Well, Alfred and I used to date, and we never really squashed our feelings for each other. Well, my bf was at work, and Alfred and I were alone. -sigh-

You made yourself very vulnerable, because kicking him out of your house would be much more difficult than walking away from a restaurant or somthing. Would you want your BF having an old girlfiend of his over while you were at work? If that happened to me, I would certainly suspect the worst!!!
And what is going to keep your old boyfriend from telling your new one? They do that on purpose sometimes, just to break up your new relationship so he can have you back....youve got to think ahead!!
